General Description of the Position
The Business Development / Project Manager will lead the growth and expansion of consortium initiatives, including new program development and fostering strategic partnerships. This role requires strong project management capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple institutions to advance critical initiatives. The Manager will identify new opportunities for collaboration, develop strategies for implementation, and oversee the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.
Essential Functions & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and evaluation of consortium projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet established goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with external organizations.
- Collaborate with institutional stakeholders to design and develop new programs and initiatives that align with strategic objectives.
- Track and report project progress, outcomes, and budgetary considerations to ensure accountability.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners to expand the consortium's reach and impact.
