We are seeking a Controller with a January 2025 start time to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Reports directly to CFO.

Delaware Valley Paving is a full-service paving and concrete contracting company, based in Phoenixville and Audubon, Pennsylvania. We are industry leaders in asphalt milling and overlay, concrete paving, site development, and general maintenance. We self perform construction services across the tri-state area, as well as general contract projects nationwide. We are looking for someone to be a critical part of the growth of our company while improving the customer experience and work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all financial activities
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Oversight and assistance with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Work with CFO on Risk Management Initiatives
- Assist with financial statement preparation, general ledger analysis, and all bank reconciliations
- Manage budgets to actual financial performance to help make sound financial decisions
- Maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
- Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
- 3 - 5 years construction experience preferred
- Experience operating within Netsuite software platform preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
