Lead Host

Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, personable, and experienced Lead Host/Hostess to join our team at our Buckhead location. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The Lead Host/Hostess will oversee the host team, ensure smooth front-of-house operations, and provide unparalleled hospitality while managing reservations, seating, and guest flow.

• Guest Relations:

  • Welcome and greet guests warmly, creating a memorable first impression.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.

• Team Leadership:

  • Train, mentor, and oversee the host team to ensure consistent and exceptional service.
  • Schedule and manage host shifts to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily objectives and special instructions.

• Reservation Management:

  • Manage reservations using the Resy system, ensuring efficient guest flow and optimal table utilization.
  • Coordinate and confirm large parties or special events in collaboration with management.

• Seating and Table Flow:

  • Monitor and control the dining room flow, balancing guest satisfaction and server workload.
  • Maintain a detailed waitlist during peak times, keeping guests informed of wait times.

• Operations Support:

  • Collaborate with management and servers to ensure smooth front-of-house operations.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members to address guest needs and maintain service quality.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a host or front-of-house role in a high-volume restaurant, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Resy reservation system.
• Personality: Outgoing, positive, and guest-focused with a strong sense of urgency.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
