Delbar is seeking a skilled Butcher with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our culinary team. This role is vital to ensuring the highest quality and consistency in meat preparation, supporting our mission to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Meat Preparation: Expertly butcher, trim, debone, and portion meats, poultry, and fish according to menu specifications and operational needs.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, inspect meat deliveries for quality and freshness, and ensure proper storage.
- Yield Optimization: Minimize waste by maximizing yield from all cuts of meat and adhering to portion control standards.
- Knife Skills & Tool Maintenance: Maintain and operate knives and equipment efficiently, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Quality Control: Monitor and uphold food quality and safety standards, ensuring consistency in every cut.
- Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to align meat preparation with menu requirements and service demands.
- Compliance: Adhere to all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Team Support: Assist the kitchen team with preparation and other tasks to support seamless operations.
Qualifications:
