Position: Part Time Assistant Athletic Trainer
Reports to: Head Athletic Trainer

Contract Length: 10 months
Position Summary:
Delbarton School, an independent Benedictine Catholic school for young men in grades 7-12 seeks excellent candidates for the role of Part-Time Assistant Athletic Trainer. Candidates should be prepared to care for student athletes for a variety of sports and levels on a daily basis. This is an entry-level position for an athletic trainer looking to gain experience in a highly competitive athletic program. The part-time assistant athletic trainer will work with the full-time athletic training staff in providing quality care to all of our athletes throughout the school year. This position has the potential to become a Full-Time position in the future. Work will begin on or about August 15, 2025.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ability to work 25-32 hours per week including some weekends.
- M-F: 1-6:00
- Weekend: As needed (estimated 5 hours)
- Advances the Benedictine Catholic mission and philosophy of Delbarton School in all professional duties.
- Adheres to all school policies and regulations, while supporting the school’s spiritual, artistic, and educational mission.
- Promotes a positive and engaging atmosphere in both the athletic training room and on the sidelines of various athletic practices and competitions.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues and the Administration to foster a positive, appropriate relationship with colleagues and students.
- Communicate regularly to the other athletic training staff regarding the health and well-being of the student athletes.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Undergraduate degree
- BOC Certified
- NJ Athletic Training License
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lifting or carrying 25-50 lbs.
- Regular pushing/pulling/bending/stooping/kneeling
- Regularly climbing stairs**
- Regularly sitting or standing 4-8 hours
- Requires physical presence, work to be performed on campus
