What to expect in this role?
Provides safe, therapeutically appropriate occupational therapy individual and group therapy sessions based on the student's IEP. Maintains effective communications with all team members (individual, family and clinicians) to include attending meetings (PPT's, team meetings, conferences, etc) to represent OT needs as it relates to OT- programing. Completes all required documentation in a timely and effective manner including but not limited to summaries for PPTs, Annual reports and progress notes. Will function as an active member of the educational team; following assigned school hours, attending all school in-services and trainings as indicated by the supervising OTR and the director of the school.

Essential Job Requirements :
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma / GED equivalent. Work experience with youth, individuals with Pervasive Developmental Disabilities (PDD - NOS) and / or conditions on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with a focus on sensory integration and behavioral programming and experience working in an educational setting is strongly preferred. You must have a driver's license with excellent driving history and have the willingness to abide by all agency policies and procedures.
