Job Title : Environmental Remediation SupervisorLocation : Randolph, MAEmployment Type : Full Time Job Summary Are you an experienced leader looking for a hands-on role in asbestos abatement and remediation? We are seeking a dedicated Abatement Supervisor to oversee field operations, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll be responsible for managing teams, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, and complying with all local, state, and federal regulations.Key Responsibilities Lead fieldwork for asbestos abatement projects, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.Direct and supervise labor forces, including foremen, equipment operators, hazardous waste technicians, and emergency response crews, to ensure efficient project execution.Complete job-related paperwork, such as timesheets, daily work reports, driver logs, and safety meeting forms.Understand and enforce the project’s detailed scope of work, ensuring compliance with contract documents, schedules, and corporate policies.Collaborate with managers to forecast and organize personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractor needs, optimizing cost efficiency.Ensure all crew members work safely and follow site-specific safety plans.Perform work in confined spaces or areas of varying dimensions, involving physical activity such as squatting and crawling for extended periods.Safely operate vehicles and perform required safety checks.Travel for projects, including extended stays of two weeks or more, as needed.Work year-round in varying weather conditions and environments, including those with hazardous chemicals, loud noise, extreme temperatures, heights, and dangerous equipment.Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more.Must maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure proper respirator fit when needed.Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent.2-3 years of experience supervising abatement projects.Experience in related fields such as emergency response, manual labor, general construction, or industrial cleaning is preferred.40-hour Abatement Supervisor certification required.Valid driver’s license required.TWIC certification preferred.OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, Confined Space Entry, and Lead Awareness certifications are a plus but not required.Must pass a pre-employment background check, substance screening, and ongoing employment verifications.Benefits Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401k with company matchPaid time off (PTO)Paid holidaysTake the next step in your career as a leader in environmental safety and abatement.
