Our Logistics Operations
Our logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP. Delek US Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP.
Convenience Store Retail Business
The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
Job Overview
The Driver is responsible for safely operating the company's equipment to transport bulk liquid, petroleum, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products from various locations and deliver, load, and unload the product to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, clean, and perform regular inspections of all leased and owned company equipment
- Safely drive to and from various locations as dispatched
- Ensure the proper amount and correct grade of product are safely loaded, unloaded, and delivered to and dropped at the correct location
- Must adhere to and obey all Federal and State Department of Transportation rules and regulations
- Understand Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations with an emphasis on the hazardous materials transportation procedures
- Required to maintain all DOT qualifications to operate and drive over-the-road equipment through mandatory physicals, drug screens, license renewals, and all other conditions in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations
- Responsible for loading and unloading product at assigned locations using various pumping methods
- Works effectively without supervision
- Communicates well with employees from all areas of the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A valid CDL License
- Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Must be twenty three (23) years old
- No more than one (1) moving violation in the last three (3) years
- No accidents in which you were at fault in the last seven (7) years
- No felonious acts, DWIs or DUIs on driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, driving evaluation, work history verification, driving record review, and criminal background check
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds
- Able to work a twelve (12) hour shift schedule and holidays as scheduled
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of safe over the road tractor-trailer operating experience
- Two (2) years of safely loading, unloading, and hauling hazardous materials over the road
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
