Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional flooring installation services for our residential clients. You will work closely with our project managers, design team, and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects while upholding our high-quality standards.

Install a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, and carpet, in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.

Prepare the work area, including removing existing flooring, leveling subfloors, and making necessary repairs or adjustments.

Accurately measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated space, ensuring precision and a seamless finished product.

Install underlayment, padding, and other necessary materials to create a stable and durable foundation for the flooring.

Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery required for flooring installation, while adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.

Collaborate with the project team to interpret design plans, provide input on material selection, and ensure client preferences are met.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, minimizing disruption to clients' homes during the installation process.

Conduct quality inspections to identify and resolve any issues or defects, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Proven experience as a Flooring Installer, preferably within a residential remodeling or construction environment.

Strong knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.

Proficient in using various tools and equipment associated with flooring installation.

Ability to accurately read and interpret design plans and flooring specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients, and vendors.

Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.

Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
