What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician III-DGF position at DelGrosso Foods?
Education & Qualifications: Associates Degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Associates Degree in related field or valid Master’s, Journeyman’s or Industrial Maintenance Electrical License preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of education preference. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in plant maintenance. Must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to effectively use computer based maintenance software. Must be able to effectively interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints and similar trade related documents.
Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Electrical and Sustainability Services perform a wide variety of electrical trouble shooting, repair and maintenance for all DelGrosso entities.
Essential Functions:
- Safely perform general electrical work at all DelGrosso entities as directed.
- Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the food production facilities, warehouses and amusement park using generally accepted electricity principles.
- Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance on, repair or install equipment.
- Apply the NEC to new electrical installation.
- Assist with repairs, replacements, adjustments, modification to equipment and machinery, wiring, etc. as directed.
- Work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed; have full availability as schedule may change and/or rotate.
