What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Sanitation Team Member position at DelGrosso's Amusement Park?
Education & Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Must be able to work with others and independently. Must be able to work very early morning hours, starting no later than 4:00am. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to squat, kneel, bend, and climb.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sweeping/mopping/scrubbing, sanitizing surfaces and fixtures, hosing, changing trash bags, and stocking supplies to the expectations set forth by the company.
- Report maintenance issues or property damage to COO or Facility Manager.
- Maintain general cleanliness of work areas by using variety of chemical products and equipment when cleaning floors, walls, fixtures, sinks, mirrors, etc.
- Wear proper protective equipment when using chemicals such as hand protection (gloves), eye protection (glasses, goggles, shields) etc.
- Follow proper department safety procedures when cleaning.
- Follow safe and proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of other park areas as directed.
- Deliver and/or stock supplies for other departments as needed.
- Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.
- Report to and from work at assigned time.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Must be honest and reliable.
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.
