- Operate cash registers accurately, processing customer transactions efficiently.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional products.
- Ensure the deli display is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others.
