Hours:

Position Summary:
Accounts Receivable is responsible for managing customer payments, entering and recording sales journals, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle accounts receivable functions with precision.
Work Environment:

Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Generate and send invoices for goods and services.
- Payment Entry: Accurately record and apply incoming payments (checks, credit card transactions, ACH) to customer accounts.
- Sales Journal Recording: Enter and verify daily sales transactions, ensuring correct classification in the accounting system.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly review and reconcile customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collections: Follow up on overdue invoices to maintain positive customer relationships
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including payment and sales details.
- Customer Inquiries: Address and resolve inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Work with the sales and accounting teams to resolve billing issues.
- Daily Sales Reconciliation: Verify daily sales figures against received payments and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Document Management: Ensure proper filing and organization of all sales and receivable transactions (e.g., DSRs, invoices, payments).

Technical Skills, Training, Certifications:
- Experience in accounts receivable or accounting.
- Competent understanding of accounting and operating software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Linga, Clover).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma; accounting certifications a plus.
