Batch Baking Assistant

Delicious Sweets Bakeshop is hiring a Batch Baking Assistant. This position pays $14-$17 an hour depending on experience. Willing to train the right candidate that has no previous experience. Must be available to work Sunday-Tuesday 20-32 hours a week, 3rd shift optional. Qualifications include: * Positive attitude/eagerness to work * Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment (a plus) * Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients * Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices * Ability to measure and mix ingredients accurately * Experience using bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, measuring tools is a plus) * Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail * Ability to follow recipes and production schedules * Basic math skills for scaling ingredients * Ability to stand for long periods * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Ability to lift and carry bags of flour, sugar, or other ingredients * Strong time management and multitasking skills * Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed * Good communication skills and teamwork mentality * Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisor If you meet the qualifications above please email your resume to info@dsibakeshop.com or apply at www.dsibakeshop.com/careers

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and baking of various pastry items, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food handling and safety protocols.
• Support cake decorating and packaging processes as needed.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and ensuring a positive bakery experience.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
