The Role:

This is an opportunity to collaborate with other senior developers on a financial services web and mobile platform for clients all over the world looking for timely investment insights.

As a Senior Drupal Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web platforms using Drupal and other technologies in an agile environment. Your role involves:

• Technical Leadership:Leading the development team, providing guidance, and ensuring best practices.
• Custom Module Development: Creating custom modules and themes to meet specific project requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Ensuring high performance and scalability of Drupal applications.
• Integration: Integrating third-party apps, services and APIs.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other technical resources and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Drupal, with part of it being on v10
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Twig, with part of it being on v3
• Strong background in both Drupal back-end and front-end development (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Proven Experience with Drupal views and exposing them as API endpoints
• Proven experience with container-based local development and Drush/Composer
• Experience with New Relic as an APM tool with Acquia/Drupal
• Experience with the Paragraphs module
• Experience deploying to and managing the Acquia platform
• Experience configuring and managing the Akamai WAF
• Knowledge of Apache configuration and URL redirects
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have:

• Proven experience configuring and querying Solr, SearchStax or other search engines
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with the Sendgrid API
• Experience with SQL, particularly on MySQL, SQLServer and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Eventbridge
• Knowledge of Angular.js and React
• Knowledge of time-series databases
• Interest in financial markets and investment strategy
