What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technician position at Delivery Concepts, Inc.?
For over 35 years DCI have served our clients through a line of temperature- controlled truck bodies, custom vehicle inserts, and mobile kitchens.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must possess your own basic hand tools.
- Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to properly complete a job.
- Effectively communicate with fellow employees.
- You are a vital part of the daily operations; consequently, it is your responsibility to be at your workstation at the time you are scheduled to start work.
- Always be safety conscious
- Able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and with a team to complete projects on time.
- Electrical Troubleshooting and able to run wires for all components
- Work in Small confined spaces
- Inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components
- Including any/all tasks or projects assigned by supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
The following are not requirements but are strongly Preferred.
- Knowledge of both AC and DC systems
- Ability to read and follow wire prints and tape measure.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Kneel, stand, and sit for lengthy periods of time
- Work from laying ground position (under truck)
- Work on ladder
We work year around, Monday- Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Ability to Relocate:
- Elkhart, IN 46517: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Work Location: In person

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
