Job Summary :

The Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an exceptional neurosurgeon or orthopaedic surgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery. This is a full-time faculty position that will be responsible for the growth of a minimally invasive spine program associated with the ASC, DSMC and SMCA. The collaboration with neurology, PM&R, and outpatient physical therapy will form the core spine program. It is understood that the neurosurgeon will also care for patients with more complex spine conditions that will require inpatient care.

Requirements :

  • MD degree with Board Certification (or Board Eligibility if within 2 years of residency) in Neurological Surgery or Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Candidates with fellowship training in minimally invasive spine surgery (MIS) are encouraged to apply.
  • Interest in clinical research related to spinal disorders.
  • Eligibility for appointment at the (Clinical) Assistant or Associate Professor level.
