Mechanical Engineering leads and delivers the development of innovative and compliant mechanical design solutions, as well as cross-functional interfaces for AI, Cloud, High Performance Computing (HPC), Edge computing devices and enterprise networking, server and storage products. Our team conducts the analysis, feasibility studies and testing of mechanical products, instruments, subassemblies and packaging for new and existing products and then oversees the introduction of design changes to the manufacturing organizations.

- Liquid Cooling Design Engineer
- on our Mechanical Engineering Team in
- Austin, Texas or Hopkinton, Massachusetts
- What youll achieve
- You will :
- Design heat transfer surfaces and coolant flow paths for cold plates
- Design coolant distribution solutions within the loop for parallel flow solutions and support cooling network sizing
- Develop concepts for new innovative cold plate concepts and establish feasibility
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering for design tradeoffs in the cold plate design
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and highly reliable

- Essential Requirements
- 12 years industry experience or equivalent skill; must include 8 years in a thermal engineering role or equivalent skill
- Experienced in cold plate design
- Expertise in internal fluid dynamics and heat transfer
- Experience with electronics cooling
- Desirable Requirements
- Experience with liquid cooling and / or cooling distribution units
- BS, MS or PhD in Mechanical engineering
