Job Summary:
The Auto Body Paint Technician at DELLA Auto Group in Ticonderoga, New York will be responsible for restoring and enhancing the appearance of vehicles in our body shop by applying paint, clear coat, and other coatings. . This individual will work as a skilled laborer and contractor, utilizing their expertise in the auto industry to ensure high-quality repairs are completed efficiently. The role requires a full-time commitment and will operate on an hourly basis.

Responsibilities:
• Perform body repairs and restoration on vehicles in the body shop, including prepping surfaces, applying paint, decals, and mixing paints.
• Conduct thorough inspections before and after repair and paint to ensure all work meets quality standards
• Use specialized equipment and tools to complete repairs and painting, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
• Keep detailed records of repair/paint work, including items used, labor time, and customer information
• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, customers, and other representatives
• Attend training and stay updated on industry advancements and techniques
Qualifications
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in auto body paint technician role, preferably in a dealership setting
• Strong knowledge of auto body paint repair techniques and tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
