As a CT technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced medical imaging equipment, including GE DR Rooms, Siemens 64-slice CT Scanners, and Philips EKG machines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans on patients, adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging.
Requirements:
- 2 years of current/recent CT experience
- Travel experience desired
- CAH (critical access hospital) experience encouraged
- Preference for experience in performing EKGs, placing Holter monitors (Zio) patches, and conducting stress tests
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Venipuncture experience preferred
Certifications and Qualifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
