Temp to Permanent Phlebotomist Position Available
This role involves drawing blood from adult and adolescent patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and specimen integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain established department policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Process a variety of specimens in accordance with established protocols.
- Data entry into both the hospital and laboratory information systems.
- Monitor requests for laboratory testing that have not been processed through the laboratory information system.
- Perform quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure the correctness of data entry.
Work Schedule:
The position requires rotating onto weekends and holidays as needed.
Technical Requirements:
- EPIC Charting System experience.
- Active MA Phlebotomist License.
- CPR Certification.
- Valid MA Driver's License.
- Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited institution.
Patient Population:
Adult and Adolescent patients will be encountered during this role.
