Key Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate and process surgical instruments using mechanical or manual methods.
- Prepare trays and packs by organizing them in a prescribed manner and checking for broken or missing items.
- Perform sterilization procedures utilizing accepted methodologies.
- Report defective or missing items to the team leader or manager.
- Maintain storage and adequate supplies of sterilized instrumentation.
- Provide department support to staff by assisting them in locating items.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
