At Della Infotech, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our content creation group, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive technical documentation for our products and systems.
About the Role:
This is a contract position that requires 8 years of experience in technical writing, with a strong focus on creating clear and concise documentation. Your primary responsibility will be to create, edit, and maintain technical documents such as user manuals, system guides, training materials, and reference manuals. You will work closely with engineering teams to accurately capture technical details and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation using your expertise in authoring tools like Adobe FrameMaker or MadCap Flare.
• Conduct research and gather information from technical drawings, specifications, and other sources to create accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, review drafts, and incorporate necessary changes.
• Utilize content management systems to organize, update, and publish technical documentation efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to technical documentation, such as S1000D or ATA 100.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical understanding of products and systems.
• Proficiency in authoring tools like Adobe FrameMaker or MadCap Flare.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry standards for technical documentation: IEC/IEEE 82079-1, VDI guideline 2770, ISO 2651x, and ISO/AWI 21999.
