Coordinator SBO Revenue Integrity
This position is responsible for driving and supporting the Revenue Integrity function for the Single Billing Office (SBO) at Bay Area Hospital, in coordination with our Epic Community Connect partners. Supports clinical departments responsible for working decentralized edits. Is responsible for working and resolving edits assigned to Revenue Integrity. Serves as a resource to both internal departments and the Community Connect chargemaster team and will help with identifying CPT codes, revenue codes or payer specific charging requirements for services provided.
Requirement description :
- High school graduate or equivalent - Required
- Associates or Bachelor degree - Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital and professional chargemaster, coding, and / or biolling work experience in healthcare revenue cycle - Required
- Recent experience with hospital charge capture workflows, charge master maintenance, CPT, HCPCS and Revenue Codes- REQUIRED
- Experience with Epic, Mosaic, Experian, Craneware, Optum, 3M or other EMR and revenue cycle solutions software - Required
- ARCR : Resolute Hospital Billing & Charging - REQUIRED
- ARCR : Resolute Professional Billing Revenue Integrity-Charge Capture and Coding - REQUIRED
Weekend Requirements : Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
On Call Requirements : No Call
