We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. This role involves various tasks related to gardening, lawn care, hardscaping, and irrigation, ensuring that our clients' landscapes are healthy, beautiful, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Assist in the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Irrigate gardens and lawns according to specific needs and weather conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client satisfaction.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues related to pests or diseases.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers.
- Ability to dig, plant, prune, and maintain various types of gardens effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
