POSITION SUMMARY :
The Estimator / Project Manager oversees all aspects of the project and is responsible for co-ordination and completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks. Tasks include analyzing drawings, specifications and addenda, setting deadlines, establishing schedules, procuring materials, tools & equipment, and monitoring and documenting the progress of the project. The Project Manager may be responsible for more than one project at a time.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
A project engineer's responsibilities include planning, scheduling, managing, and monitoring projects. They work to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Planning and scheduling
Create detailed project plans that outline each phase, milestone, and deadline
Establish project goals in collaboration with management
Managing Manage budgets and timelines, Supervise the work of contractors and engineers, Coordinate efforts among various teams, and Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
Monitoring
Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively
Conduct or oversee technical tests and inspections
Maintain clear and concise communication with stakeholders
Other responsibilities Ensure safety and quality standards compliance, Solve technical problems, Provide technical support, and Document project progress.
