Location : This position is remote, with occasional travel to the DC Metro Area.

Role :

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Applications Developer, specializing in Pega, to focus on delivering high quality application software. As key personnel, the developer will be fully dedicated to the project, collaborating with teams to design, build, and implement software solutions efficiently.

Responsibilities :

Develop, test, and deploy application software per project requirements.

Work closely with stakeholders to meet contract milestones.

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly.

Document code, ensuring maintainability and scalability.

Prepare detailed specifications for programs.

Translate detailed design into computer software.

Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product.

Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.

Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.

Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.

Applies principals, methods, and knowledge of specific functional areas of expertise to specific task order requirements.

Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant with the enterprise architecture and applicable reference models.

Evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action.

Education and Certifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Relevant Pega Certifications : Certified Business Architect (PCLBA), Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PCLSA), Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA), or Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) with User Essentials Course.

Minimum Requirements :

10 years of experience in IT leadership, architecture, specializing in Java and Pega

Proficiency in Java, Pega, and workflow-based solutions.

Strong understanding of software development processes.

Advanced Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Pega, Objected Oriented Programming Concepts and Patterns, XML, REST, Spring Boot / microservices, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, technologies.

Deep knowledge of application development frameworks as required by the government.

Understanding of AWS infrastructure, with experience in service development, deployment, and management in AWS environments.

Ability to work within contract deadlines and deliverables.
