BPK is looking for someone with hospitality and customer service chops to join our team at Delmonico Grill as the Dining Room Attendant.
In this role, you will assist the food servers and restaurant manager by seating guests, refilling beverages, clearing tables, and just generally easing the flow of service.

About you:
The ideal candidate will be self motivated, quick on their feet, has a warm and engaging personality, and is a very flexible team player. Candidates with prior experience as a busser, restaurant host, front desk agent/receptionist are greatly appreciated, but first time job seekers are welcome to apply.
As noted above, this is a "support" position to the "front of house" team. The duties will generally encompass those of a busser and/or host. The schedule will consist of several day shifts (11-2Pm) Tuesday thru Saturday with a couple of evening "split" shifts from 5-9 on Friday and Saturday night. Daytime availability and weekend availability are required.
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Hosting duties typically include:
- Greeting guests as they enter the restaurant. Seating guests, ensuring that they have food and beverage menus. Informing servers when and where they have been "sat."
- Assigning guests to the "waitlist." Collecting their contact information and reaching out whenever their table is ready.
- Ensuring reservations are managed and tables are held for guests. Communicating table flow to other members of the FOH team.
- Assisting with phone and online orders. Taking the orders and receiving them from the kitchen. Ensuring guests have the necessary and requested utensils and condiments they requested.
- Pre-bussing: clearing used plates and utensils from tables mid-service. "Setting" the table for the next course with fresh utensils, napkins, and any necessary side plates or bowls. Bussing empty tables by clearing all dishware, food items and utensils. Sanitizing the table and setting it for the next seating.
- Refilling guest’s ice water glasses.
- "Running food" or assisting the servers in carrying orders to the table in a quick and effortless fashion.
- Ensuring the dining area and restrooms are sanitized and cleaned regularly.
- Help the bartender keep a clean and orderly bar. Clear stations, wipe it down routinely and ensure the ice well and water pitchers are filled.
- Restocking the service areas located on the main floor and the mezzanine. Performing the "end of shift" restocking and cleaning.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
