Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Fraud, Legal, Operations, Product and Business Development to design and implement fraud monitoring solutions and fraud prevention strategies.
· Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to gift card fraud.
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitors suspicious activities trends.
· Create and track fraud KPIs to measure the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies.
· Proactively identify emerging gift card fraud schemes and develop strategies to mitigate them.
· Collaborate with other fraud analysts, data scientists, and engineers to develop fraud prevention tools, systems and products.
· Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
· Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.
Qualifications
Required
- 5 years in an analytics/data science or equivalent role, ideally with fraud / cybersecurity / financial services or retail industry experience
- 5 years experience using SQL/Hadoop, Spark SQL and PySpark/Hadoop Ability to conceive and execute the design of end-to-end scripted analytics solutions
- Proven proficiency with Python for data manipulation, visualization and process automation
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau for full-stack data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation.
- Collaboration, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt and engage across a variety of audiences. This includes significant written, verbal and data visualization skills to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, detailed, and concise manner.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $109000 to $170000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
