We require a Cyber COMSEC Lead based in Las Vegas, NV with a desire to actively defend the mission systems critical to our national defense. We will provide holistic managed cybersecurity services, support the implementation of strategic operational capabilities, identify and assess areas for innovation on Day 1, and help the client sunset legacy technologies and processes.

As a Cyber COMSEC Lead the candidate will be responsible for the accountability, safeguarding, and destruction of COMSEC material, ensuring compliance with DoD policies, and managing classified equipment, materials, and information.

• More effectively identify, evaluate, and scale innovative emerging technology capabilities to drive productivity, operational efficiency, and security outcomes. 
• Maintain a holistic view of Cyber Operations to provide on-demand expertise for any situation, anticipate service variance, and optimize enterprise performance.
• Data analysis, machine learning, and use of cybersecurity principles.
• Leading a team, managing projects, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Minimum BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Travel up to 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be able to work on-site full time in Las Vegas, NV.
• 7 years of technical experience in cybersecurity related fields or data science.
• Technical and managerial knowledge and experience of designing, engineering, and managing an organization’s security posture, as well as an understanding of security concepts such as encryption and key management.
• Proficiency in communication security technologies, protocols, and practices, e.g. type-1 and type-2 encryptors and managing cryptographic materials.
• Experience leading teams, managing technology projects, and mentoring junior staff.
• At least one of the following certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Security CompTIA

Preferred: 

• Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
• Experience working in classified SCIF environments
• Master’s degree in related field
