Work you’ll do
As a Data Science Technical Lead with cloud and data engineering experience, you will be responsible for maintaining cloud environments that enable model deployment across a cloud infrastructure that houses sensitive data and models that support mission critical operations. You will work closely and collaborate with a dynamic cross-functional team crafting data pipelines for model development and data warehousing supported by cloud infrastructure.

The GPS AI & Data Engineering (AI&DE) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to deliver insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must have an Active TS/SCI or above government security clearance
- 4 years of experience programming in Python or R
- 4 years of experience programmatically interacting with cloud (e.g.: Amazon Web Service (AWS)) services and products
- 4 years of experience with in computer science, data science, machine learning
- 4 years of experience leading teams to design technical solutions to solve client problems
- Deep knowledge of security best practices, experience with cloud security tools, and working with role and attribute based security models
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and MLOPs
- Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
