The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Work you'll do
We are looking for a talented and experienced full stack developer to join our team. Proficient experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and object-oriented programming are required. Salesforce experience is a plus but not required. We will train the proper candidate. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing customized Digital solutions (Salesforce Platform) for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and system administrators, to understand needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, and provide technical guidance on Salesforce best practices.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including solution design, technical specifications, and test plans.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and functionalities, and evaluate their applicability to our organization’s needs.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Understand ML principles as they relate to analytics and analysis in Salesforce
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
- 2 years of software development experience
- Experience with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must hold an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance
- Ability to work fully onsite in Chantilly, VA
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
- Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and technologies, such as Salesforce DX and Git
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to travel 10-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum.
