Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects in support of IT infrastructure, including programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks
- Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
- Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Provide technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer
- Serve as technical lead of development staff, along with peer level interaction with project managers and architects.
The Team
The US Systems Engineering Offering delivers large scale software applications and integrated systems and assists its clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. The practice aims at developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems. It would focus on key client issues that impact the core business by delivering operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation.
Qualifications
Required
- 8 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and managing application development
- 5 years providing technical leadership over development teams
- 1 years of continuous process improvement
- 1 years of Software Lifecycle Development, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Top Secret security clearance required
Preferred
- Experience with the following technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Python, AWS, Azure
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Degree in an IT-related field.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,000 to $191,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
