Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Master in Chicago, Illinois and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development life cycle for the development of Cloud-based technologies. Manage end-to-end journey of information technology projects from OnPremise to Cloud by leading the design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Manage aspects of the full software development life cycle for information technology projects, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in connection to information technology projects. Serve as a technical liaison between the information technology project business, project team and developers/testers, and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

- Utilizing Agile methodology, Atlassian Jira, Java, Perl, Linux, PL/SQL, Git, and Kubernetes to participate in design and development for Cloud messaging, Cloud Strategy, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services;
- Architect, build and deploy multi-cloud solutions using Apache Maven, Ant, Java Spring Boot, Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interface (API), Java Servlets, Java Spring, Oracle PL/SQL, and Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) to support enterprise clients;
- Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology solutions using Jira, Java Spring, JUnit, Apache JMeter, Selenium, and Perl Scripting;
- Developing data migration plans from legacy platforms to private and public cloud platforms, including Oracle PL/SQL, Linux, IBM WebSphere Portal Server and Application Server, JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP), and Kubernetes;
- Designing solutions within cloud infrastructures using Java Servlets, Java Spring, Java Spring Boot, JUnit, Perl, Splunk, Oracle Field Services Cloud (OFSC), and Postman; and
- Participating in the development, communication, and implementation of organizations’ DevOps capabilities, including continuous integration, continuous test automation, continuous delivery pipelines, and application monitoring, using Git, Jenkins, and Cucumber.

Annual Salary: $196,123.00 - $265,625.00.
