The AMI practice delivers end-to-end technology solutions to enable and improve our clients' core business operations. AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.

Work You'll Do/Responsibilities
- Database Management: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle (Including EXADATA), SQL Server, and DB2 on AS400 databases.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop, implement, and test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration projects between different database systems.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 5 years of database administration experience
- Experience working on Oracle, SQL, and DB2 databases
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Role is remote
- Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
- Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
- Excellent Written and Communication Skills
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
