As finance cycles converge, we advise, implement, and operate best-in-class solutions across actuals and forecast to accelerate insights including finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as-a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation.

Work You'll Do

As a Specialist Master you will lead and deliver small engagements, or components of larger more complex engagements, that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies.

Specialist Master responsibilities include:

• Providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues
• Determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches.
• Evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.
• Implementing and overseeing the quality of deliverables and effectively managing the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
• Participating in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.
• Managing, mentoring, and developing team members

Qualifications

Required:

• Eight plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.
• Implementation experience with Oracle Cloud EPM products with at least two full life-cycle oracle planning cloud implementation.
• Relevant experience implementing EPM Technologies such as:

o Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) with Financial Close & Consolidation - Account Reconciliation Cloud FCC/ARC experience or

o Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) with business rules and Groovy experience

• A demonstrated resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
• Relevant experience in technology implementation methodology and cycles (Development, Testing, Documentation, Cutover, Deployment, Hypercare)
• Proven experience in terms of Project Management (Resource, Scope, Budget), with emphasis on tech implementation solutions
• Experience writing Business Rules within an Oracle Cloud EPM Product
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS), and/or Financial Data Quality Management
• Success leading implementations by gathering system and business requirements, design, and build Planning Cloud solutions including writing calculation scripts and building applications from end-to-end
• Proven experience interacting and communicating with both business-oriented and IT-oriented clients
• Proven track record of success in identifying and addressing client needs and developing EPM solutions that solve complex business problems
• Understanding of system deployment methodologies (Agile, Hybrid Agile, Waterfall)
• Relevant knowledge or experience in ETL/Data Transformation tools and databases
• Ability to translate process requirements into technology functionality; ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements
• Relevant knowledge or experience as a Data Base Administrator and Data Base Architecture
• Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

• Relevant knowledge or experience in ETL/Data Transformation tools and databases
• Relevant Knowledge on Oracle EPM tools that enable compliance checks and process (Audit Logs, SOX, etc.)
• Understanding of finance business processes, including forecasting and budgeting cycles, and actual corporate reporting requirements
• Relevant knowledge or experience on planning/budgeting process industry benchmarks and best practices
• Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization, build consensus and foster change
• Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of larger engagements
• Experience with pre-sales, proposals and RFP activities
• Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to mentor and counsel junior staff
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $229,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
