.Net Developer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Application Development: Maintain and enhance existing .net Core and .Net Framework applications on IIS server, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Database Integration: Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application functionality.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor and improve the performance of .Net applications and SQL Server databases.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to .Net applications and SQL Server databases, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for .Net applications and database configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 6 years of IT Experience
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a focus on legacy technologies such as NET Web Forms, Windows Forms, Silver light, MVC, MVVM, Razor, Blazor, SSIS , Classic ASP and WCF.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in legacy .NET development, including C#, VB.NET, and .NET Framework.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, with the ability to adapt to different project requirements.
• Solid knowledge of database concepts and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Experience with modernization techniques such as code refactoring, application re-architecture, and cloud migration is a plus.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
