Work you'll do
The Data Lead will be responsible for coordinating and leading all data clean-up activities and subsequently managing the data conversion, mapping, validation, migration, and reconciliation processes. This role is critical to the success of the project and requires a dedicated individual who will be fully committed from the project start through the Go-Live period
1. Data Cleansing Leadership:
Lead and guide the client team on all data cleansing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion. Collaborate with the IT department and other business departments to identify and implement data cleansing opportunities.
2. Data Review and Identification:
Review existing data to identify areas requiring cleansing. Provide recommendations and technical assistance for data preparation and migration.
3. Implementation of Data Cleansing Scripts:
Develop and implement data cleansing scripts and programs. Ensure thorough testing and provide implementation support for these scripts.
4. Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to identify and complete data cleansing activities. Facilitate necessary decisions from the client regarding data cleansing and conversion.
5. Data Mapping and Conversion:
Lead the complete lifecycle of data conversion activities, including planning, development, and execution. Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of current data objects, tables, and databases.
6. Data Migration to SAP S/4HANA:
Plan and execute the migration of data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. Recommend and implement data conversion methodologies and tools, ensuring they are SAP certified and approved by the client.
7. Mock Runs and Validation:
Conduct multiple conversion mock runs, with the Commission responsible for data validation and reconciliation. Implement automated reconciliation and validation processes as needed.
8. Master, Transactional, and Historical Data Preparation:
Identify and resolve any data incompatibilities with SAP S/4HANA. Facilitate decisions and provide guidance for resolving data issues before conversion.
9. Project Commitment and Onsite Requirements:
Be 100% dedicated to this project, with no engagement in other projects during the project timeline. Attend and participate in key onsite meetings and workshops, including the Project Kickoff Meeting, Initial Onsite Discovery Workshops, Detailed Discovery and Approval phases, User Acceptance Testing, and other times as determined by the approved Implementation Plan.

T he wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and c ertifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $171,250.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in leading data cleansing and migration projects, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong technical skills in data profiling, mapping, and conversion.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement data extraction, transform and load scripts via BODS.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel
- Expected to co-locate in your designated office/USDC location up to 30% of the time
- Must live in a commutable distance to or be willing to relocate to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA
