This position is responsible for data analysis and reporting needs for the Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI) in support of Business Services. As a Reporting Sr. Specialist your responsibilities will include:
- Creating, updating, and enhancing reports (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) with precision and effectiveness based on data coming from a variety of business systems and data warehouses (SQL queries, Hana, MS Access database)
- Providing first line resolution and client support for data requests and partnering with OSI peers and management accordingly
- Growing the analytics and Business Intelligence across teams or clients supported by OSI to assist in building a data-driven culture
- Administering and executing processes using broad knowledge of business programs to ensure analytics and reporting objectives
- Reviewing existing processes to identify improvement areas and opportunities to influence business decisions
- Supporting reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and creating macro driven Excel workbooks, increasing efficiencies and best practices
- Maintaining SharePoint sites and procedural documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences, including leadership
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong data modeling and data wrangling skills
- Basic to moderate knowledge of Python and Machine Learning
- Strong analytical skills with consistent diligence to drive business insights through data analysis
- Ability to analyze and report data using and interactive visualization
- Strong problem solving and consultative skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree with quantitative and analytical background preferred
- 3-5 years of related work experience in a data-driven role
- Strong time management and presentation skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, and work overtime when needed
- Ability to work virtually with colleagues around the globe
