Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Travel and Expense Management:
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end travel and expense process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review and audit expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policy.
- Policy Compliance:
- Ensure all employees comply with travel and expense policies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Travel and Expense Helpdesk:
- Addresses travel-related issues (Concur issues, travel management company's tool booking queries, hotel booking queries, etc.).
- Addresses expense related issues (Concur issues, expense report issues, credit & T&E card request queries, un-submitted expense reports, reporting issues, etc.).
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to monitor travel and expense trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare and present regular reports on travel and expense activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Create interactive, executive-level dashboards in Power BI/Tableau.
- Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Update for Travel and Expense Management
- Develop and update T&E management procedures, ensuring all changes are documented, communicated, and implemented effectively.
- T&E Sourcing:
- Negotiate favorable terms with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, etc.
- Implement and optimize systems for tracking and managing expenses.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with travel service providers.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce travel and expense costs.
- User Experience Enhancement:
- Focus on improving the traveler, approver, and back-office experience by streamlining processes and reducing administrative burdens.
- Provide support to employees on travel and expense policies and systems.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in travel and expense management.
- identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in travel and expense management, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of travel and expense policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using travel and expense management systems (e.g., SAP Concur).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to enhancing the user experience for travelers and approvers.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations.
- Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel. Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel
Preferred
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in travel and expense management. Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau, etc.)
