Overview
The Building Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of school facilities. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of building systems.
- Manage and oversee facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and its systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime of equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management principles, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and general building maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
