Responsibilities:
· Assist in site preparation by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers as needed.
· Operate construction equipment, such as forklifts, skid steers, and loaders, to transport materials and equipment around the site.
· Handle and transport construction materials, tools, and supplies to various work areas as directed by the supervisor.
· Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and masons, with tasks that require additional manpower.
· Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and nailing lumber, under the guidance of experienced craftsmen.
· Assist in the setup and maintenance of construction site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
· Clean and maintain construction sites on an ongoing basis, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
· Load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles, taking care to prevent damage to items and equipment.
· Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety.
