We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated healthcare team in the Urgent Care Center of our rural hospital located in the Adirondack Mountains, North County in New York. This role requires the ability to work independently, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and respond to a wide range of acute medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and lab work.
- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform minor medical procedures as needed.
