Since 1936, we’ve been delivering a wide range of vital services, including Outpatient Treatment, school-based counseling, prison Reentry Services, Rapid Re-Housing, and Health Homes Care Management. We also offer Monroe County’s only community based 24/7 Open Access Clinic, providing on-demand evaluations and referrals.

1) How many days/hours will I be working?
It is between 15-20 hours per week with a mixture of days and evenings. We will work with you to make a schedule that works for you and for us.
2) What are some of the main job duties that I’ll be doing?
No two days will be exactly the same. Your daily responsibilities will primarily include general moderate cleaning and light repair work, with painting experience considered a plus. Maintaining public restrooms is part of the role—sometimes challenging, but manageable if you're brave and committed to getting the job done.
You'll also serve as our eyes and ears for identifying security concerns and making recommendations to enhance the safe, welcoming environment of our physical campus.
3) Will there be outdoor responsibilities?
- Spring and Summer: Maintain the grounds by keeping them free of debris and enhancing their appearance. No mowing is required.
- Fall: Rake grassy areas and ensure entrances and exits remain clear of leaves.
- Winter: Perform light shoveling and salting to keep entrances and exits free of snow and ice.
4) What are the qualifications for this opportunity?
At a minimum, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related role is strongly preferred. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
5) What knowledge, skills, and abilities are needed?
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to lift or move objects no greater than 50 pounds.
