Location: 100% Onsite - Augusta, Maine (Travel to various offices)
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Travel Technician to support a large-scale computer refresh initiative. This role involves providing desktop support, managing hardware and software installations, and ensuring smooth technology operations across multiple offices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Manage the setup, deployment, and retirement of computer equipment
- Coordinate system updates, software patches, and virus protection measures
- Maintain inventory records and track hardware and software assets
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Document technical processes and provide user support and training as needed
Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of experience as a Client Technologies Specialist or in a similar technical support role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with inventory management and asset tracking
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and travel to different office locations
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical experience preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Windows Autopilot
- Experience with Intune and/or Azure
