Job Description :
Our client located in Pawtucket, RI is looking for an Application Developer to join their team. The Application Developer provides functional oversight for the application development team with primary responsibility of architecting, designing, and developing enhancements to the robust portfolio of applications. The Application Developer enables business capability and objectives through technology by integrating and building end to end quality products. The Application Developer will ensure detailed design and implementation align with solution architecture, functional and non-functional requirements as well as leading and assisting implementation efforts working with cross-functional team members to recommend technical solutions to business issues and / or system issues.
Responsibilities
- Involved in all aspects of application development (architecture, presentation, database, logic, etc.) as well as application lifecycle management
- Create or review technical specifications for projects or system modifications
- Designs back-end structure of database entities and components, adhering to best practices and focused on component reusability and extensibility
- Provide mentoring and coaching to highly efficient team of application developers
- Interact and collaborate with different business units for information-gathering, business analysis, and other necessary steps in order to produce effective web solutions
- Partner with developers, project managers, and business analysts to provide assistance and guide work, including recommending solutions, documentation, and developing tasks
- Assisting in architectural planning to shape the overall design of various components within a solution
- Contribute to streamlining existing in-house processes (i.e. data migrations, builds and deployments, new environment setup, etc.)
