Job Description :
Our client located in Pawtucket, RI has an immediate need for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the foundational systems that support on-prem and cloud technology environments. This includes networks, servers, storage devices, and other related hardware and software. This role works closely with product teams as well as devops engineers, system administrators, network engineers and the security team to ensure that services are robust, efficient and secure to enable our organization to operate smoothly and scale effectively. The Infrastructure Engineer must be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines, troubleshoot complex problems, and work under pressure to ensure that business systems are available and performing well at all times. Infrastructure engineers must always be prepared to handle emergencies anytime, and anywhere.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and redundancy.
- Collaborate with development teams to support continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) processes.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or similar.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Ensure security best practices are followed and implemented.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures.
