Job Description :
Project manager with a strong background in industrial automation and SCADA systems. Our goal is to measure, monitor, analyze, and proactively remediate operational issues and processes at our disposal sites. The realization of this goal involves deploying SCADA and industrial automation technology in a standardized manner, providing enterprise-level data integration and visibility, ensuring effective processes and procedures, and managing and monitoring IT resources.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical to the role.
The ideal candidate will have a background in deploying and supporting Industrial Automation's Ignition platform at multiple physical locations in an enterprise, and experience leading an effort to provide visibility and to the resulting operational information at an enterprise level. Candidates with enterprise SCADA deployment experience using other platforms will be considered.
The ideal candidate will also have experience addressing the technology challenges associated this type of program. Examples include remote equipment network connectivity, WAN connectivity, and providing a cloud-based data storage, retrieval, analysis, and reporting capability. The candidate will also have strong process and procedure evaluation skills to ensure full documentation is available to all stakeholders. They will also have employee management and reporting experience.
Preferred Skills / Experience (Any of these is a plus)
- Previous experience as a lead on a large project in a Fortune 1000 company
- Experience in a Business Analyst or Software Development role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, mentoring skills
- MS Office tool expertise, with PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to effectively show project information in a clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity considerations for industrial automation implementations
