Description
General Summary : Applies Passive Countermeasure System (PCMS) tile to various ship structures. These functions include the repair and / or removal of old materials; the installation and fit up of new structural materials using approved procedures and glues, adhesives and fasteners.
Job Location : Norfolk, VA.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities :
- Prepares surfaces for the application of PCMS tile.
- Knowledge of the processes and procedures necessary for the proper removal of old materials with minimal damage to surrounding materials.
- Uses prescribed tools for shaping and fitting sheet and tile type materials using required glues and adhesives.
- Traveling required
