Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as proficiency in various pharmacy practices, including IV infusion and aseptic technique.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including Non-Sterile Compounding and inhalation therapies.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications and treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication administration logs to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize technique when preparing non-sterile products to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in critical care and acute care settings to optimize patient medication therapies.
- Conduct inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to pharmacy operations and patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is highly desirable.
- Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting is an advantage, particularly non-sterile compounding skills
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for managing prescriptions and patient information.

Pay: $16.62 - $18.00 per hour
